Safari by day Itinerary: Rwanda Serengeti Zanzibar Safari
Day 1 – 3: Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda
Enjoy three nights in the Volcanoes National Park while discovering Rwanda’s amazing animals and volcanic scenery. At the Virunga Safari Lodge, start your honeymoon with a view of the twin lakes Ruhondo and Burera and the Virunga volcanoes, one of Rwanda’s most breathtaking vistas, from the private veranda of your banda. From the lodge, visitors can drive to the Gorilla Trekking headquarters to track Rwanda’s golden monkeys and mountain gorillas through the Virunga Mountains’ deep jungles and get up close and personal with these amazing animals.
Other activities available to visitors include hiking to the Buhanga Sacred Forest, exploring the enigmatic remnants of the Dian Fossey’s Centre, visiting the IbyIwacu town, and climbing the Visoke or Karisimbi volcanoes. Day 4 – 8 Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
In the northern Serengeti, stay in a traditional and fashionable East African mobile camp.
