Day 1: Arrival in Antananarivo (Tana)

Day 2: Antananarivo – Antsirabe: A Scenic Journey

After a sumptuous breakfast at your hotel, you will embark on a scenic drive to Antsirabe, known as “the city of much water.” En route, we will stop in Ambatolampy, a charming town famous for its exquisite metal craftsmanship, particularly traditional cooking pots. You may have the opportunity to visit a local workshop and see artisans at work. Continue your journey through breathtaking landscapes adorned with brick homes and lush rice fields. Embark on a gentle two-day descent down the enchanting Tsiribihina River, where nature’s wonders unfold before your eyes. Keep a lookout for playful lemurs, majestic crocodiles, and a variety of aquatic birds that grace the riverbanks. Day 5: Journey Through Nature on the Tsiribihina River

Day 6: Tsiribihina to Bekopaka: A Day of Transition

As we conclude our river excursion, we will traverse the coastal plains of Menabe, renowned for its tobacco plantations. After a delightful riverside lunch, arrive in Belo on Tsiribihina, where your driver will be waiting to take you on a thrilling 4×4 adventure to Bekopaka. This quaint village serves as the gateway to the breathtaking Tsingy of Bemaraha.  Overnight at Sun of the Tsingy hotel in Bekopaka.

Day 7: Exploring the Small Tsingy

After breakfast, embark on an exhilarating canoe journey through the stunning gorges of Manambolo. Discover the enchanting caves home to bats and witness the ancient tombs of the Vazimba, the first inhabitants of Madagascar. Following this cultural experience, explore the Small Tsingy, where you will traverse labyrinths, canyons, and unique corridors enveloped in endemic flora. Day 8: Tsingy of Bemaraha: A UNESCO World Heritage Adventure

Prepare for a captivating day of exploration in the magnificent Tsingy, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its dramatic limestone formations. Experience the breathtaking beauty of the cathedral-like peaks, rising 30 to 50 meters high. Walk across expertly crafted suspended bridges that allow you to observe this geological wonder in safety. Marvel at the rich biodiversity found within the dry tropical forest while enjoying a free lunch. Return to your hotel in the afternoon to unwind after a day of discovery. Day 9: Bekopaka – Morondava: The Enchanting Sakalava Country

This morning, following breakfast, we will journey to Morondava, traversing the enchanting Sakalava country. Navigate sand tracks and laterite roads, passing through quaint villages along the way. Be captivated by the iconic baobabs, rice fields, and the lush deciduous forest that fill the landscape. We will have a Stop at Kirindy forest to encounter Sifaka, the famous Fosa, birds and reptiles. After that we will continue our way to Morondava. Late in the afternoon, take a moment to capture stunning photos at the famed Avenue of the Baobabs and witness an unforgettable sunset that paints the sky with a palette of vibrant colors. Day 10: Morondava – Tana: Farewell to Madagascar | Madagascar west tour

Enjoy a free morning in Morondava to relax and savor the final moments of your journey. After breakfast, we will transfer you to the airport for your domestic flight back to Tana. Upon arrival, immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of the traditional La Digue market, a vibrant center for Malagasy handicrafts. Day 11: Morondava – Tana: Farewell to Madagascar
