2 Days Chemka Hot Spring Safari

Chemka Hot Springs safari. The Chemka Hot Springs are located in the village of the same name, Chemka, around 40 km from Moshi Tanzania. They are warm springs that are underground. It creates a clean, clear pond that is perfect for swimming. The water in the pond is so clear that you can always see the bottom, even though it is quite deep—up to 10 meters in some areas. The pond is surrounded by dense trees. After swimming, you can camp on the shore, have some snacks, and relax.

Day to Day Itinerary of the Chemka Hot Springs safari

Day 1

After being picked up from Moshi, you will go to Boma ng’ombe and then on to Rundugai village, which is surrounded by acacia and baobab trees and dry plains. A pleasant, natural pool with warm, pure water will soon be at your destination, making you feel as though you’ve arrived in paradise on a mildly arid planet. You will camp here, have time to swim, and build a bonfire.

Day 2

Following breakfast, you can stroll through Kikeletwa village before returning to the pool, where you can eat lunch and relax while swimming. In the evening, we head back to Moshi and that marks the end of the 2 Days Chemka Hot Spring Safari.
