Detailed: 6 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari

Day 1: Transfer to Maasai Mara

Upon arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International airport, you will be picked by the company guide/driver who will then brief you about your 6 days Kenya safari.

You will be transferred to Maasai Mara by road which takes approximately 6 hours. Have a stopover at Narok town where you will have an interaction with the local Maasai people as you visit the handmade crafts in the shops. 6 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari

Proceed to Maasai Mara as you will reach in the late evening. Check in to your booked lodge, go for an evening game drive, drive back to the lodge have dinner, and relax.

Day 2: Full day Game drive – Maasai Mara National Park

After an early breakfast, the guide will transfer you to the park offices for briefing then game drive sighting where you will look out for animals like the cheetah, elephants, lions, buffaloes, rhinos, hartebeests, etc. break off for lunch at your hotel or have a picnic lunch set on one of the reserve sites.

After lunch, drive back to the park for another splendid game drive in the evening as you enjoy passing through the beautiful plains of the reserve in search of the Big five.

Day 3:  Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park

Day 4: Game drive – Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the park offices for clearance and briefing about the animals in the park. Enjoy your full day game drive with lots of beautiful wildlife adventure.

Lake Nakuru hosts 400 bird species and therefore named as a home for bird lovers including the Greater and Lesser Flamingos. Over 50 mammal species like the white and black Rhinoceros, African buffalo, zebras, waterbucks, Rothschild giraffes, Impalas, olive baboons, vervet monkeys, hyenas, Jackals, hippopotamus, etc.

Day 5: Game drive – Nairobi City Tour

Wake up very early for another game drive in the morning with the beautiful rays of the sunrise, look out for animals like warthogs, giraffes, baboon, cheetah, gazelle, grant’s zebra, lion, African leopard, hartebeest, etc.

After the game drive, return to the lodge, have a late breakfast, and check out for the Nairobi city tour where you will visit the Nairobi national museum for the history of Kenya through displayed information and art pieces. The journey takes 3 hours.

Day 6: Transfer to the airport

After having a relaxed breakfast, our guide/driver will transfer you from the lodge to the airport for your flight back home and that marks the end of your 6 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari at Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru NP Safari.
