Details Itinerary for the 7-day Big Five Safaris in Tanzania:

Day 1 – Arrival

When you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be greeted and taken to Moshi or Arusha to recuperate from your travels and, if you’re fortunate, to see the magnificent Kilimanjaro rising from the sky over the town.

DAY 2,3 & 4: Serengeti National Park

You will start your four-hour trip this morning from Arusha to the Serengeti, one of Africa’s most well-known game parks. During the migration, millions of wildebeest call this place home, and lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and several other predators can be seen roaming the vast, level plains. Experience sleeping in the middle of the Serengeti and go on a game drive. DAY 5: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro

An early start in the Serengeti to try to locate large cats before they hide from the daytime heat. Following a few hours of game viewing, proceed to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for the night. The largest caldera in the world that has not flooded or been broken is Ngorongoro. A breathtaking natural phenomenon, the Ngorongoro Crater is around 20 kilometres across and 600 meters deep.

DAY 6: Ngorongoro Crater

You will drop into the Ngorongoro Crater this morning, which is a fantastic wildlife sanctuary. The distinctive feature of Ngorongoro is that practically all of the wildlife is found inside the crater walls, making it easy to locate game. Lion prides, cheetahs, and other predators, including rhinos, are frequently sighted. Enjoy your midday meal at the hippo pond.
