Detailed Itinerary 4 Days Kidepo Valley National Park

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport

Upon arrival, our driver will pick you from the airport and transfer you to your booked hotel for relaxation or have an optional activity in Entebbe like visiting the Mabamba Swamps for birding – good for shoebill sighting. Or take a walk to the botanical gardens Entebbe.

Accommodation at Karibu Guest house or 2Friends properties or protea hotel on Full board meal basis.

Day 2: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park

After an early breakfast, drive via Kampala – karuma – Gulu – Kitugum road that will take over 10 hours for arrival in the district. Visit the Karuma falls where a dam was constructed being largest power station in Uganda. Get a magical sight of the baboons and black and white monkeys plus the beautiful landscape that enables hike to the falls.

Proceed with the journey to Gulu where you will have a stopover for lunch as you get to feel the northern communities with their nature.

Accommodation at Boma hotel (mid-range) or Apoka safari Lodge on Full board meal Basis.

Day 3: Game Drives in the Kidepo Valley

With an early wakeup call, we catch the beautiful scenery of the sunrise behind the mountains. Have an early breakfast as we prepare to go for a morning game drive to view many animals that are in such for grass and prey. Take a look at the zebras, buffalos, giraffes, hartebeests, leopard, Elephant and cheetah. With an excellent tour guide, enjoy the game drive.

In the afternoon after lunch, take a tour guided nature walk with in the park on foot with a knowledgeable ranger guide sharing his knowledge of the eco system and also bringing you closure to the animals.

Day 4: Depart for Entebbe

After an early breakfast, depart for Entebbe passing through the park again enabling sighting of Elephants, Buffalos, antelopes and many more animals. Have a stopover at Gulu for lunch then proceed to Entebbe. End of safari
