Detailed Itinerary 7 Days Uganda Safari

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport

Upon arrival at the airport, our guide/driver will transfer you to your booked hotel for relaxing or have an optional activity in Entebbe. Visit to the mabamba swamps would be worth it for your eye bird catch. The swamp is popularly known for shoebills. – 7 Days Uganda Tour

Day 2: Drive to Gulu

After an early breakfast, drive the Kampala – karuma – Gulu – Kitugum road that will take over 10 hours for arrival in the district. – 7 Days Uganda Safari

Take a break at the Ziwa rhino sanctuary (the only place in Uganda where you will see the white Rhinos) for sighting the beauty of the white and black rhinos. Proceed with the journey as you enjoy the scenic views of the land scape in the northern Uganda region.

Second stopover for lunch enroute as you to Gulu arriving in the late afternoon.

Day 3: Gulu – Kidepo Valley National Park

After an early breakfast, drive through the acholi lands with scenic views of the hills that separate their land from Karamoja.

Take a close look at the small grass thatched houses (homesteads to the local people). Arrive at lodge in the afternoon have lunch and prepare for an evening game drive in the Narus Valley. – 7 Days Uganda Safari

Day 4: Narus Valley – Kidepo national Park

Have an early breakfast and go for a morning game drive that gives a beautiful view of the sunrise with plenty of animals like zebras, buffalos, giraffes, hartebeests, leopard, Elephant and cheetah.

After lunch, go for a nature walk with in the park on foot with a knowledgeable ranger guide sharing his knowledge of the eco system and also bringing you closure to the animals.

Day 5: Transfer to Murchison Falls

After breakfast, drive through the park again as you proceed to Murchison Falls National park. It will be a full day drive and therefore have to breakoff for lunch at Gulu then proceed to your lodge for resting.

Day 6: Murchison Falls National Park

After an early breakfast, you will go for a morning game drive that normally takes up to 4 hours sighting the beautiful animals like antelopes, giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, lions, among others. At around 11:45am – 12:00am you will go back to the lodge relax a bit, have lunch as you prepare for the boat ride crossing you to the top of the falls. A lot will be sighted for example the Nile crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, colored king fisher, waterbucks, warthogs and many more mammals and birds. 7 Days Uganda Safari

After the boat cruise, you will be transferred back to the lodge for refreshment, dinner and rest thereafter.

Day 7: Transfer to Entebbe

After an early breakfast the driver will be ready to transfer you back to Entebbe for your flight back home with a beautiful early morning game drive where you will see the birds and animals grazing. Proceed with the journey as you will have a stopover for a hot lunch and some beautiful pictures of Uganda. This marks the end of our services.
