Day 1: Arrival at Kigali International Airport

The Africa Reveal Safaris Guide will pick you up at Kigali International Airport and take you to Volcanoes National Park. Get to the hotel in the evening and check in.

Trek with golden monkeys in Volcanoes National Park after breakfast. You will either visit the caverns or have a community tour after lunch. Afterward, have dinner and unwind at the lodge.

 

Day 3: Transfer to Nyungwe National Park and have a canopy walk

After your transfer, spend the afternoon on a canopy walk in Nyungwe National Park. Spend the night at a nearby hotel after checking in.

 

Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking experience in Nyungwe

Day 5: Transfer to the Gisenyi border

After breakfast, depart from the hotel in Nyungwe and make your way to the Congo’s Gisenyi border.

 

Day 6: Transfer to Nyiragongo Volcano for the hike

The Virunga National Park guide will pick you up at the Grand Barriere in Congo so you can continue on to the Nyiragongo Volcano for the walk.

 

Day 7: Nyiragongo descent and transfer to Uganda

Reach the peak of the Nyiragongo volcano early in the morning to take in the breathtaking views of the active volcano. Following the adventure, park guides will take you down from the volcano and to the border. Your guide will collect you from the border and take you to the Kyanika border, where you will enter Uganda and spend the night in Kisoro town.

 

Day 8: Gorilla trekking Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

Go on a gorilla treks with one of the most endearing gorilla families still living in the wild in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi later, and take a boat tour of the islands. At your hotel, check in later.

 

Day 9: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
