Day to Day Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival: Kilimanjaro/Arusha Airport – Arusha
You’ll be collected from the airport and dropped to your Hotel for relaxation and overnight.
Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, head to Tarangire National Park for a full day of wildlife viewing. Tarangire’s nine vegetation zones provide it a varied landscape. Africa’s greatest tree, the ancient baobab, dominates the landscape, dwarfing the animals that graze beneath it. From elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos, zebras, giraffes, antelopes, and a wide range of beautiful birds, the park’s Tarangire River is home to a wealth of species.
The park is well-known for having Tanzania’s largest number of elephants. You will get the opportunity to see numerous elephant families conversing in silence while on a safari there. You can observe animals sipping water from the river (and frequently lions attacking a thirsty zebra or wildebeest) while stopping for a picnic lunch at a park observatory. After you have finished your game viewing, head back to the camp or lodge for dinner and your overnight stay. 8-Day Tanzania Safari Itinerary

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Natron (Bird Watching/ Flamingo Walk)
After breakfast, your day will start at around 8:00 AM. We head for Lake Natron with our lunchboxes packed. Lake Natron is a remarkable natural spectacle and a bizarre location, approximately 3.5 hours’ journey from Mto Wa Mbu/Manyara. With an average depth of only one metre, its waters are exceptionally shallow and extremely alkaline. A Maasai tribesman will lead you on a walk around the beaches of Lake Natron as you look for birds, particularly the lesser flamingos, so put on your walking shoes after checking into your lodge and taking a quick break.
Up to two million lesser flamingos can be seen in Lake Natron during the breeding season, making it the most significant and frequent breeding location in East Africa. Most egg laying and hatching occurs between September and January. You will return to your camp or resort after the hike for a well-earned meal and relaxation. 8-Day Tanzania Safari Itinerary.

Day 4: Lake Natron to Central Serengeti
Your day begins early. Enjoy a leisurely walk to the neighbouring NgareSero waterfalls at around six in the morning, escorted by a Maasai guide, and unwind in the refreshing spray of water tumbling over the rocks of this picturesque gorge. Remember to pack your sneakers! After eating a satisfying breakfast and returning to our lodging by 8:30 AM, we will depart for the Serengeti National Park. This road trip passes through a number of locations, including towns and villages, forests and savannahs, where you can see antelope, wildebeest, and zebras. In the afternoon, we arrive in the Serengeti. 8-Day Tanzania Safari Itinerary
The world’s most striking wildlife sanctuary is undoubtedly the Serengeti. An afternoon wildlife drive on the Serengeti’s boundless plains will give you the opportunity to observe a pride of lions relaxing in the shade or large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles. The daylong game drive itself will include a picnic lunch. Dinner and a restful night in your lodging mark the end of the exciting day.

Day 5-6: Full day Serengeti Game Drive
You have the option of enjoying a leisurely breakfast or leaving for all-day game drives at 9:00 AM with a packed lunch and returning to the lodge at 6:00 PM. You can also go on an early morning game drive at 6:00 AM. After breakfast and some downtime, head back to your lodging before leaving for a packed lunch and afternoon game drive. Today, the core region of Serengeti National Park will be explored.
Because of its amazing lion and leopard population, the most famous safari location is the fabled Serengeti National Park. The Seronera area, located in the centre of the Serengeti, is home to some of the park’s most abundant wildlife habitats. It has the Seronera River, which serves as a vital water source for the region and draws fauna that is typical of the majority of the Serengeti’s species. It is important to keep an eye out for the several lion prides that flourish in this area during the migration’s off-season.

Day 7: Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Following breakfast at approximately 6:30 AM, you will leave the camp with a packed lunch and go on a morning wildlife drive through Serengeti National Park until lunchtime. Depending on your interests and what you have already seen on your safari, your guide will take you to game drives at one or more of the Central Serengeti’s several game drive circuits. A wide variety of other species, including a fair number of big cats, particularly lions, are likely to be visible. Travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is scheduled during the afternoon. A satisfying dinner and a restful night’s sleep in your lodging mark the end of the day.
Dinner and overnight at Rhino Lodge Ngorongoro Crater Rim
Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
You will start early on the final day of your safari. After a brief breakfast, you will descend into the crater bottom early at around 6:30 AM. The biggest entire, empty, and inactive volcanic crater in the world is the Ngorongoro Crater. Its enormous floor spans over 260 square kilometres, and it is more than 2000 feet deep. There is a lot of animal action during the five-hour game drive on the crater bottom. It is definitely advised to keep the camera ready. There are many African elephants, buffalo, black rhinos, hyenas, cheetahs, lions, and hippos. After enjoying a picnic lunch by the stunning Hippo pool, you will start the difficult ascent to the crater’s top exit.
You have four hours to drive to Arusha, which is the final stop on your safari. By 6:00 PM in the evening, you will be dropped off at the Arusha place of your choice. This is the time to say farewell to your team after an amazing adventure and a tonne of memories to treasure. 8-Day Tanzania Safari Itinerary
