Day to Day Itinerary of the Tanzania safari adventure

Arrive Day: Transfer to Karatu to your booked hotel/lodge Accommodation

DAY 1: Karatu – Serengeti (3hrs Drive)

We leave Arusha and travel west for seven hours to reach the Serengeti. You will be exposed to Tanzania’s diverse range of colours and personalities along the way, including the possibility of seeing Masai ranchers herding their goat herds to new pastures. As you get to know your driver-guide, you’ll be astounded by his breadth of expertise as he answers all of your enquiries with ease. We will eat lunch after our lengthy drive before starting our afternoon game drive.

DAY 2: full day of discovery Serengeti

We leave our Central Serengeti lodging today. There is so much wildlife that you would think it has found you instead of the other way around. Since the animals don’t share their schedule, it’s unclear what the highlight of the day is. The seasons also affect what we see, but this is a favourite place for large cats hunting prey because it is where grassland and bushland converge. Today, lions, leopards, and cheetahs are all possible.

DAY 3 – en-route Serengeti – Ngorongoro

Enjoy an early breakfast and go on a game drive in the morning. After lunch, we head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping for a game drive along the way.

DAY 4: Ngorongoro – Arusha

Following breakfast, you descend into the crater and take part in a game drive there. An estimated 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania’s few surviving black rhinos, can be found in the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most populated African wildlife regions in the world. Herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and enormous African elephants are among the many creatures that call the crater home, which is sustained by a year-round supply of water and feed. The abundance of predators in this stunning national park, including as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, is another major lure. We’ll eat a picnic on the floor of the crater.
