Day by day Itinerary: 4 Days Akagera National Park Rwanda Tour
Day 1: Arrival at Kigali International Airport and transfer to hotel in Kigali.
A Rwanda safari guide will meet you at the airport or at a hotel in Kigali on the first day of your tour. Following the meeting and greeting, you are taken to Kigali city, where you check into a hotel that you have reserved to recuperate from jet lag.

Day 2: Have a short Kigali city tour and transfer to Akagera National Park.
After breakfast at the hotel you have reserved, you prepare to travel around Kigali. The Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre is one of the historical and cultural sites you visit. You eat lunch after the city tour and are then transported to Akagera National Park. It takes roughly two and a half hours to drive to the park. You drive to a reserved lodging establishment at dusk, where you check in, unwind and spend the evening.

Day 3: Game drive in Akagera National Park and an evening boat cruise on Lake Ihema.
After breakfast, you spend roughly four hours exploring the park on a morning game drive. The big five game—buffaloes, rhinos, elephants, lions, and leopards—are among the creatures that are visible. Giraffes, zebras, hyenas, cape bushbuck, topis, oribis, roan antelopes, duikers, impala, cape eland, and many more are among the other wildlife species. You have lunch at the hotel after the game drive and then unwind while you wait for a boat trip. Hippos and crocodiles can be seen in the water during the Lake Ihema boat excursion. The lake’s borders are home to wildlife such as buffaloes and elephants. Following the boat ride, you check in, have dinner and spend the night at a reserved lodging facility.
