You will be picked up by a tour guide at Kigali International Airport on the first day of your seven-day safari in Rwanda. After checking in, you unwind, have dinner, and spend the night.

Day 2: Transfer to Akagera National Park and have an evening boat cruise.
Your tour’s first day will begin with an Africa Reveal safaris guide picking you up from your accommodation. After breakfast, we drive to Akagera National Park, which takes around two and a half hours. After arriving in time for lunch, you eat and unwind while you await a boat tour. The Lake Ihema boat trip provides excellent opportunities to see crocodiles and hippos in the water. On the lakeshores, one can spot wildlife such as buffaloes and elephants. After the boat ride, you check in, have supper and spend the night at a hotel you have reserved.
Accommodation options: Luxury: Ruziza Tented Camp, Mid-range: Akagera Game Safari Lodge

Day 3: Morning game drive and transfer to Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast in the morning, you go on a game drive over the picturesque savannah plains for around four hours, depending on your interests and animal sightings. The big five game—buffaloes, rhinos, elephants, lions, and leopards—are among the creatures that are visible. Giraffes, zebras, hyenas, cape bushbuck, topis, oribis, roan antelopes, duikers, impala, cape eland, and many more are among the other wildlife species. You eat lunch after the early-morning game drive before continuing on to Volcanoes National Park. Kigali city and several picturesque villages will be traversed during the drive from Akagera. In the evening, you will arrive to a lodge that you have reserved in Volcanoes National Park. Rwanda Safari Adventure

Day 4: Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast, you are driven to the park headquarters by your driver-guide, who will take you up at the lodge. The park warden gives you a tutorial on the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking in Rwanda when you first arrive at the park headquarters in Kinigi. The park ranger guide will drop you off at the trekking starting site for the gorilla hike around 8:30 am. One gorilla family is assigned to each of the eight people who have a Rwandan trekking permit, which costs USD 1500 per permit. With armed ranger guides, each of the eight people treks through the bamboo forest for two to six hours. But you only get to spend an hour (60 minutes) with the mountain gorillas.
Although the duration of the walk varies based on the movements of the gorilla groups, the Rwandan population is known to travel shorter distances, making the trek easier. You stroll back to the park headquarters after spending an hour with a gorilla family, where you meet the tour guide to be taken back to your accommodation. Rwanda Safari Adventure

Day 5: Golden Monkey trekking in Volcanoes and transfer to Nyungwe Forest
Golden monkeys live alongside mountain gorillas in Volcanoes National Park, where you will travel with them in the morning. Due to their distinctive colour, golden monkeys are easily recognised. Before the hike, you have to be at the park headquarters by 7:00 am for a briefing. Mount Sabinyo is home to the largest population of golden monkeys in Rwanda, with between 80 and 100 of them. It is also the park that receives the most visitors. After hiking, you are transported to Nyungwe Forest National Park and back to your hotel for lunch. Your selected lodging will be close to the park, where you will spend the night.
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Accommodation Options: Luxury: Nyungwe Forest Lodge / One & Only Nyungwe Forest House, Mid-range: Nyungwe Top View Hill Hotel, Budget: Gisakura Guest House
Day 6: Chimpanzee trekking and canopy walk in Nyungwe Forest National Park
After breakfast in the morning, you will be driven to the park’s headquarters to begin your chimpanzee trekking adventure. You continue to wander until you come to the location of the chimps’ last night’s sleep. The speed at which chimpanzees leap and play impacts how many pictures you capture and how much time you spend looking at them. You can watch them making noise as they bounce from tree to tree at fast speeds. Following the hike, you head back to the starting location and meet the driver-guide for a ride to the hotel for rest and lunch. You spend roughly two hours on a canopy walk in Nyungwe Forest in the evening.
You later go back to the hotel to unwind and eat dinner. You spend the night at the lodging from the previous night.
