Day 1: Leave Kampala for Lake Mburo National Park; go for an afternoon boat cruise

After breakfast, depart Kampala for Lake Mburo National Park, which is home to just three of the big five game species as well as a plethora of impalas, topis, zebras, birds, and endangered Rothschild giraffes. Drive in a 4×4 Safari Van or 4×4 Land Cruiser with a pop-up for 3-4 hours along the Masaka-Mbarara route for good wildlife watching.

Make a pit stop at Mpambire Drum Makers Village en route, and then proceed to your respected Uganda safari lodge in Lake Mburo National Park for lunch. Participate in a 2-3 hour afternoon boat cruise on Lake Mburo.

Hippos, crocodiles, water birds, particularly pelicans, pied kingfishers, shoebill storks, cormorants, fish eagles, and other wildlife can all be seen while participating in this water sport. Return to your lodge to eat, sleep, and spend the night.

Day 2: Game drive and get back to Kampala/Entebbe

Breakfast is followed by a fantastic 2-3 hour game drive. Elands, impalas, zebras, giraffes, lions, leopards, Topis, buffaloes, water bucks, warthogs, and a variety of birds can all be seen here.

Drive back to the lodge to check out after an exhilarating game viewing in the savannas, then link to the equator for photography on your journey back to Kampala/Entebbe.
